Case 
Given the current troubled global situation, supply chain issues are affecting everyone in particular with relation to 
products linked to assisting in the fight against the ‘Covid-19’ outbreak. 
Analysis 
Given the global shortages in hand sanitiser and other cleaning and PPE items, our dedicated 3D print engineers have looked into innovative ways to help with reducing the spread of the Virus. 
 
Covid-19 can be passed on by touching surfaces contaminated with the new coronavirus. Like many respiratory viruses, including flu, Covid-19 can be spread in tiny droplets released from the nose and mouth of an infected person as they cough. A single cough 
can produce up to 3,000 droplets. These particles can land on other people, clothing and surfaces around them. 
Solution 
Our 3D print engineer designed a simple yet effective solution to help reduce the spread, in the form of a Contact Free Personal door opening hook. 
By using this product, you do not not have to make direct contact with door handles, light switches, lift buttons etc.
Test Marketing 
Many of our Contact free personal door hooks have been distributed to key manufacturers and service providers, and the feedback has been overwhelming. 
 
Orders have since been distributed in various industrial sectors, such as Pharmaceutical, Delivery Transport, Food Manufacturing sites, as well as many others. Helping to keep their plants running and their employees safe.
